Housing

There is always a place to sleep for at least one parent for children who are admitted to the hospital at Children's, but it is often helpful to have a more comfortable location nearby for families who live far away.

The Inn at Longwood Medical is next to the hospital.  It is somewhat expensive, but I understand there are discounts for families of children at Children's Hospital.  Speak to the clerk in the Cardiac ICU at (617) 355-7861 for details and/or a voucher.

is a family housing center in a house a few blocks from the hospital that can help house a small number of families anticipating prolonged hospitalization.
